Enhancing Stroke Rehabilitation With A Mobile Assistant

. In recent years, the use of technology for cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) re-habilitation has grown exponentially. Individuals that suffered it require personal-ized therapies to gradually return to normal activities. Such process should be as-sisted by professionals, as each treatment has different diagnoses, depending on patient age or injury level. Therefore, our objective was to propose a platform based on a virtual assistant that accompanies and guides the patient in everyday situations. Such a solution tries to provide more detailed information to the pro-fessional about the patients’ progress and particularly helps in designing and monitoring each one when day are occupied in a particular task. In this work, we describe the software solution, the designed protocol and discuss results obtained after testing with different patients.
