Color Innovation: Advanced Technology For People With Color Blindness

Color blindness is a deficiency in color perception caused by abnormalities in the retinal cones, affecting the ability to distinguish specific colors accurately. From a technological standpoint, various innovative solutions have been developed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with color vision deficiency (CVD). This work introduces a novel accessibility tool designed to assist people with CVD in everyday activities, making color identification more straightforward and intuitive. The study begins with an in-depth exploration of the different types of color vision deficiency and the challenges faced by individuals affected by this condition. Understanding these limitations allows for developing a solution tailored to their needs. The proposed tool aims to bridge the gap between CVD individuals and their environment by providing real-time assistance in recognizing colors correctly. Furthermore, this work outlines the methodology and conceptual design of the accessibility tool, emphasizing its innovative and user-friendly approach. By leveraging modern technology, the solution aspires to improve the daily interactions of people with CVD, fostering inclusivity and accessibility in various aspects of life.
