Micro Frontends In Real-Time Data Analytics Dashboards For I

Adopting micro frontends in real-time data analytics dashboards presents an approach that contributes to Industry 4.0 advancements, improving scalability and modularity in industrial applications. This paper explores the integration of micro frontends into real-time dashboards, demonstrating its effectiveness through a case study involving a car manufacturer. Composing the frontend into independent micro-applications facilitates seamless collaboration among diverse partners, making the system more flexible and maintainable. Despite challenges such as increased payload size and technical complexities, the benefits of enhanced team autonomy and reduced complexity in large applications underscore the potential of micro frontends in advancing Industry 4.0. This work aims to present a proposal for implementing micro frontends in Industry 4.0, focusing on implementation and validation in a real-life case, to present the advantages of using this approach in terms of scalability and implementation.
