This paper presents the application of the Lean Brainstorming Technique and the SWOT Matrix (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) in compiling information for the materialization of the Strategic Planning document of the Pró-Reitoria de Graduação e Educação Profissional da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná. The application was carried out through a field experiment involving 110 course coordinators, 13 Directors of Undergraduate, and members of the pedagogical teams at UTFPR. The experiment resulted in eight strategic objectives that will shape PROGRAD's planning for the next four-year period.
